Hong is a comic project that tells a fictional story with elements of action, adventure and martial arts, based on historical events such as the post-colonial conflicts in Africa.
The project started in 2018 as a print comic on paper, but after years of development and course changes, I made the decision to publish it as a webcomic.
In a region in the heart of Africa, devastated by an endless war and forgotten by the world, a rebel group has taken control of the exploitation of coltan, making it their source of power and control.
But where the population suffers from the tyranny of the warlords, Raven Hong takes justice with her most powerful weapon: her knuckles. Together with Brofound, an NGO that investigates the illegal coltan trade, Hong will try to prevent an imminent massacre.
